The 110 metre superyacht is based on anOceanco hull platform. Naval architecture is by Oceanco and BMT Nigel Gee whileHot Lab Yacht & Design is responsible for the exterior design, withinterior designer to be determined. Hot Lab has taken the yacht’s significant volumes into her exteriordesign. Darkened glazing is used on each deck to give a lengthening effect,keeping the profile low rather than stacking it higher. The windows are large,many full height; this leads to an interplay of light and dark spaces on herlight-coloured superstructure and is a method Hot Lab chose to ‘reduce the visual impact of the significant volume.

A focal point is the low and sleek stern,which stands out with a swimming pool on the aft main deck that has a waterfallflowing into a spa tub on the aft lower deck. Notably, the whirpool is enclosedby glass sliding panels, giving a solarium affect and allowing the space to beused year-round and in any weather. Dual staircases lead from the swimming poolarea down to the lower deck where a beach club and spa area is tucked insideunder the aft main deck. From this point, guests can enjoy easy access to thespa pool or the sea.

Accommodations are found within a dedicatedowner’s deck with bedroom, lounge,gym, and private exterior deck and spa tub, six VIP staterooms – four with their own private balconies – andtwo additional guest cabins, welcoming a total of 18 guests who will be tendedto by 40 staff and crew members. For added owner privacy, access is grantedfrom the touch-and-go helipad on the upper deck bow area directly to the lowerpart of the owner’s suite without having to passthrough any guess areas.

The Primadonna superyacht concept is proposedwith four 4,290hp MTU 20V 4000 M73 engines delivering a top speed of 18.5knots. A model of the new Oceanco DP028 superyacht will debut at the MonacoYacht Show this September.
