Wider 165′ – New 50-meter Superyacht by Wider Yachts

Tilli Antonelli, President and Founder ofWider, was present for the momentous event and reflected the upbeat mood of theworkforce in his comments: “This is an exciting step forward for our shipyard.It would not be fair to say that work has now started on the 165’ becauseactually we have been working for well over one year to ensure a high standardof excellence in the finished product. Now we can start to really see theresults of our work though, as the yacht will take shape before our eyes in thetalented and experienced hands of our craftsmen.”Wider 165′ features the sameelegant lines, sense of harmony and connection with the water, with addedsignificant interior volume and exterior living space. Along with itsinnovative submersible bay, the new 165’ yacht accommodates a touch-and-gohelipad and offers a truly magnificent “Wider Beach” – one of the most spacioustransom swim-and-sunbathing decks in its class – complete with indoor swimmingpool. The “Beach” also converts to a garage that seamlessly accommodates thehighly customizable new Wider 32’ yacht tender, while a floating launchingsystem facilitates entry/exit maneuvers for the crew launching the tender.

The Wider 165′ will feature diesel-electricpropulsion, for efficiency. She has been customised to satisfy every desire ofher owner, and boasts even greater volume than luxury yacht Wider 150′. Thismeans that she can even house a personal submarine and accommodate a touch andgo helicopter pad as well as offering generous interior spaces, whilstremaining under 500 GRT.

The owner has kindly granted permission for herto be displayed at the Cannes Boat Show and Monaco Yacht Show 2016.
